I really have a thing for rusty bed springs. They are just wonderful to display all kind of items and make great egg cups for 9” high paper mache Easter eggs.

I had decoupaged and embellished the eggs some years ago but they got a little style update this year. My rusty motor parts that look like flower shapes, came in handy again.

Have a great week, everybody! I’ll be back on Thursday with some more Easter decorations.
The springs and eggs will hop over to these great parties:

Really cool!!!!!!
What a perfect holder for your eggs, Julia! The eggs are so beautiful, too!
Skønne, skønne æg og perfekte æggeholder. knus morkaren.
Love those springs for the eggs. Such a great idea. I did some decoupaged eggs a few years ago. Just found one of them the other day that I did in a sheet music paper so brought it out from the cupboard. I should make more but would need to find the plastic eggs first. :) Have a great week. Tammy
What a wonderful idea. The eggs look perfect on those old springs.

Ahhh yes! I was waiting for a post like this from you dear Julchen and as always you did not let me down. Your embellished eggs look simply wonderful and yes the motor part flowers are giving them something so special, very beautiful! I absolutely love them and the look of them sitting on the bed springs! Can't wait to see what you share with us next. Wish I was as creative as you are, but so far I wasn't in the mood to create for Easter whatsoever which is quite strange for me. I decorated a bit and also put a big Silhouette paper maché egg on the big bed spring you sent me, but I'm more into the garden these days and my daughters new café (yes she finally found and rented a location and an appartement too). I think Easter is too late this year, I like it better at the end of March. Still I'm looking forward to our family get together on Easter Sunday in my in the countryside living sisters garden and the weather forecast is promising us 20°C for Sunday and Monday right now which would be perfect! Today it is rather cold here and raining as we speak, but everything is green and the daffodils and tulips and forget me nots and clematis montana are in bloom. The lilacs are just about to start blooming too and the roses have big buds already so have the alliums. I so love the garden in Spring :) Hope all is well with you, hubby and the furry babes. Sending you happy pre Easter wishes my friend! xoxo~ Carola
