It had been on my mind for a while to make a sign from junk parts or found objects. Inspired by some great junky LOVE signs I had seen on some blogs recently, I checked my stash for items that would work as letters or parts of letters. There were several options and I played around until I was satisfied with my LOVE letters.
The wood came from an old pallet and is beautifully weathered. I’m glad that I wasn’t able to get the rusty nails pulled out. I could have cut them off but then decided not to, because I just liked the look of them sticking out of the wood planks. It even gives me the possibility to hang something from the base.

I don’t consider this sign a Valentine’s only creation and plan to hang it in my studio all the year round.
Make LOVE from junk and have a happy weekend!
