Pallet Wood Trees and a Star

Today I’d like to show you some beautiful pallet wood Christmas decorations. The only credit I can give myself for these pieces is, that I kindly asked my dear hubby to make them for me.

Pallet Wood Christmas Tree by Vintage with Laces
Hubby started with the small tree above. The design is similar to some I had pinned to my Christmas board.

Then he created his own designs and came up with the large tree in the background. The grid was a leftover piece from one of his rusty metal artworks.

The last one has some metal too, which is a bit difficult to see though. Each of the higher wood pieces is framed with small rusty coils. Instead of a wooden trunk, this tree got a metal one.

Pallet Wood Star by Vintage with Laces
After my wonderful little pallet tree forest was finished, hubby surprised me with this beautiful star. I’m so excited about all these fabulous pieces. Thank you so much, sweetie! I LOVE you!

Boule Balls as Christmas Décor by Vintage with Laces
If you were wondering about the rusty Christmas balls in the star picture, they are heavy metal petanque (boule) balls. They were a scrap yard find from earlier this year. Aren’t they cool?

I’ll be back soon with some more recycled/repurposed Christmas creations. Have a wonderful weekend!

I’ll be joining these great parties:

Be Inspired at Common Ground
Party Junk at Funky Junk Interiors
Knick of Time Tuesday at Knick of Time
Nifty Thrifty Tuesday at Coastal Charm
A Little Christmas in July at Thoughts from Alice

What a star your darling husband is to help with your creations.
There is a gorgeous elegance to the simplicity of the trees, they really are the most fantastic design and I adore that you created a vignette with them as the stars of the show.
Festive Wishes to you dear Julia.
P.S. Can you not envisage this in Greencraft?

Oh Dear Julia
I wonder who had the most fun in creating these gorgeous Christmas trees. I think Helmut has really spoiled you! - I had better not let Jeff see them! - instant pressure! (hehe).
They are absolutely gorgeous and so very inspirational. It is amazing how much pleasure can be derived from bits of wood and some rusty coils!
I love each vignette and that wooden star is just fantastic!
I can see you smiling from here sweet friend!
Love and big hugs,
