Bunnies & Eggs

Today I’d like to show you a fabric and lace collage that I’ve recently created.

Easter Bunnies

The adorable Easter image is from The Graphics Fairy. Thank you, Karen! Usually I convert colored images into sepia or black and white ones, but this time I liked the original colors so much, that I used the image as it was. In my stash I found a soft blue border and thought this would add a lovely additional splash of color. Apart from that I worked with my favorite whites and creams.

Easter Collage

eggs and lace

I hope to show you some more Easter creations soon. What are you working on?

I’ll be linking up this post with the following parties:

Be Inspired Friday at Common Ground

Brag Monday at The Graphics Fairy

Knick of Time Tuesday at Knick of Time

Hallo liebe Julia,
I`m so happy to see you here already again, as it means your power works a bit more normally!
Your easter collage is adorable with Karen`s image -so wonderful- and your beautiful composition and choises of fabric and laces- and I agree that the soft colour of Robins eggs blue is so lovely with the white/beige.
Your beautiful strawberries are out for my easter decoration :-)
You will soon hear from me, sweet friend- I have some doctors appointments, unfortunately- that I want to finish before I write you!
I send you warm hugs and love.

This is darling Julia. That image is so sweet. Perfect for Easter and springtime!!!
What have I been working on?...well sadly, nothing in the studio. I have been painting some furniture that my husband just built for me. Believe me when I say that I would rather be sewing :)I really hate painting, but it must be done I guess.
many hugs...

So beautiful and inspiring dear Julia!
I fell in love with this rabbit image when I saw it on Graphics Fairy too - it's very special!
Whites and creams are my favourites too, but a little touch of soft blue picks up the pretty ribbon and the sky perfectly in your collage.
Your laces and trims are divine!

Sending you some warm Summer sunbeams from my corner of the world!
Shane ♥

Liebe Julia,

I couldn't resist adding a comment here too Julia. I simply adore all the wonderful lace projects. I made my first lace book and had so much fun. Your lace hearts are stunning and I'm going to try my hand at making one. Thanks again Julia.

Liebstige Julia,
Herzlichst, Traude

What a sweet creation. I love your pin cushion in a sugar bowl creation, (in your side bar) I don't suppose you have a tutorial. I have a sugar bowl from my husbands grandmother, very old china, I don't use it as a sugar bowl for fear it will break, but a pin cushion? that sounds perfect, I even have some lace she made wouldn't that be special.
