I’ve spent quite some time on my sewing machine lately, mostly sewing white pillows in different shapes and sizes. A lot of them I just embellished with doilies from my collection. Then the quilter in me came through and I made this patchwork pillow from old tablecloths, bed linens and laces.

The minute I had seen the cute moose graphic at The Graphics Fairy a while ago, I knew I would use it for a pillow slip. I printed the moose on fabric and put white lace around.

This French image had been provided by Karen too and for this pillow, I had used the tee tree oil transfer method, my dear friend Viola over at Shabby Chic Inspired had talked about HERE.

The flea market season is almost over in our area, sigh. One more flea market is coming up in two weeks and then there will be a break until March. These are some finds of the last couple of weeks.

I mostly prefer coffee over tea but like the shape of tea pots very much and fell in love with this one.

It’s so overdue that I show you some gifts I had received. My sweet friend Dorthe over at Den Lille Lade had spoilt me with a beautiful pumpkin for my fall decoration as well well as with a gorgeous collage and a lovely card.

In addition she had shared a recent flea market find and sent me some wonderful watch parts for me to create with.

Dear Lisa from Tarnished and Tattered got me into the Christmas mood by sending me this fabulous tin. I love it and have it hanging in the living room since it arrived some weeks ago.

Lisa also sent me lots of lovely laces, pretty monogram stencils

and this beautiful tag with a little plaster charlotte doll.

As if this hadn’t been enough, a fantastic wall hanging was also included in the package. For this gorgeous collage, Lisa has combined pretty fabrics with the most delicate lace, vintage velvet ribbon, fringe, a lovely metal piece and a pretty turquoise colored bling brooch. The beautiful image is covered with waxed paper.

Last but not least, I found this lovely card from dear Lynne over at Adorn in our mailbox some days ago. That was such a wonderful surprise and I’m happy to be an owner of one of her beautiful creations now.

Thank you very much, my dear friends! You all had made my days.
Have a great weekend everyone! Do you have any plans? I will play in the studio to get some things finished and probably will go for a walk to pick up some fir cones for my Christmas decoration.
HUGS,
Julia
