When Liz over at LULULIZ had told me that she was planning to work on a glue book during her vacation in France, I sent her a package with some ephemera, which I thought she might like to use for this project as well as some other things to play with like trims, laces etc. She said that she would send out a package my way too but I had never expected such a surprise. Besides this lovely tag she had created and which now sits on my studio wall shelf,
yummy laces, lots of watch parts,
lovely buttons, packed in these pretty envelopes,
created by Liz
Liz had sent me as well a fantastic antique jelly/pudding mold of her collection. We both have a thing for them and watch out on flea markets if we can find one. I couldn’t believe my eyes and wondered how she could actually part with it. Isn’t she the sweetest to do something like that?
Thank you so much, dear Liz!!! I would have loved your package anyway but this gift made it so extra special :-).
Another wonderful gift came from Martina at Stempel-Gewerkel. I hadn’t expected anything but bills and advertisement in the mail that day and so I was very delighted to find a large padded envelope. Who doesn’t love such kind of mail? Martina had sent me this beautiful collage on a canvas in lovely shades of pink, cream and beige. I’ve displayed this pretty creation in my studio.
Thank you very much, dear Martina! That was such a sweet surprise and made my day!
Thank you for stopping by today! I’ll be back soon …
