A Ghoulish Steampunk Halloween Assemblage

I think I should warn you. If  black humor is not your thing, then please skip this post. The creation, I show you today, is quite macabre.
Some weeks ago I got an old clockwork with several metal arms. One stuck out to the side and the idea of a Halloween gibbet creation popped up in my mind immediately. I started with the skeleton and then piece by piece the  assemblage evolved.

Steampunk Halloween Assemblage

I admit, I giggled when I created this sign. Yeah, I know, pretty morbid but hey, it’s Halloween!

The undertaker advertisement is soldered between two pieces of glass.

Gibbet Detail Undertaker Ad
I found the great images of the skeleton, the crow, the clock face and the undertaker ad over at The Graphics Fairy. Thank you, Karen! You had just what I needed for this assemblage.

There are still some more Halloween creations and decorations I’d like to show you. Hopefully you’re not too shocked about my macabre gibbet and will come back.
Have a great week!

Hugs,
Julia

Julia this is exciting, macabre and so very creative, I love it although it is rather dark in humour LOL.
The detail, the execution (excuse the pun!!!!) of the artwork - this should be in a Stampington & co publication.
A fabulous start to my Blogging week visiting your post.
Wishes
Lynne

LIebstige Julia,
Rostrosigst,

Very clever and brilliantly done. Love the gloom and doom messages and how you've incorporated the GF images. Coming to you via Brag Monday.

Ah it's a steampunk creation now I see! Somehow I imagined something bigger and totally different. Very cool and interesting my dear and no refund ha ha if that isn't macabre lol also the one size fits all makes me laugh and buy one get one free is so good! The undertaker advertisement sign is so fab too with the little chain!
I'll answer your rather sad email later my friend! Sending you a very big hug! xoxo~ Carola

Manu
